Functional yoga with agoYoga
The new yoga-plus concept "AgoYoga", i.e. yoga read once forwards, once backwards, a play on words that reflects the flowing dynamics and new functionality in the sequences. Static becomes movement. It's an increase in intensity that gives you more understanding of the yoga practice, but also more stability for movement sequences in everyday life.I recommend this course for:
- All Yoga Practitioners
- Fitness trainer
- Yoga and Pilates Trainer and Teacher
- personal trainer
More dynamics on the mat
Good news for all yoga fans: challenging positions (asanas) are now much easier to take. This is made possible by agoYoga.
Together with Laura Biemann, director of the well-known yoga studio OM UND COMPANY in Munich, I have modernized yoga. Classic and static yoga positions become functional and close to everyday life with the help of the elastic PATband and the PATrigger multi-tool. My tools help you to find your way more effortlessly into postures and at the same time target the right muscles. This is a big plus especially for yoga beginners, but also advanced students can make their postures more precise.
Laura Biemann shows you exercises for your yoga practice: "The stretchy aid gives stability, promotes mobility and enables precise, fluid execution of the sequences. It's almost like you're assisting and helping with a pose as a teacher."
The aim is to optimise certain asanas by pulling the soft, elastic aid in such a way that mobility, coordination and strength building are promoted. "Particularly in twists, hip openings, but also in the forward bend or in balance exercises, the band can facilitate the processes, and through the noticeable counterpressure, the practitioner also understands better which muscle groups need to be used," explains the yoga expert.
And how it's done: Basically, the band is applied in a supportive manner - usually one foot or hand is in the loop for tension - and is adjusted individually for each exercise. The PATrigger replaces the yoga block and increases the variability of the possible exercises many times over.
We wish you a lot of fun with the first agoYoga exercises!
